I am an Apple person … but I was never quite happy with the IPhone. When someone gave me an IPhone last year for Christmas, I ended up giving it away.
I got pretty excited when I learned about Google’s phone, G1 … it “could” be what I’m looking for. I wouldn’t know yet until I play with it. But reading the reviews is getting me hyped up. BUT unfortunately, I only see it on T Mobile … although I heard it will be open to all networks soon. For now, they are just hear-say … I would have to wait.
G1 operates on Android system. I’m no techie so I had to research about it. Wikepidia explained it well here. It simply means this will work great with Google’s applications.

G1 has a QWERTY keyboard which I love and one of the things I wish Apple’s IPhone had. It also has 3G network, Wi-Fi acess, GPS, Music Player, Bluetooth, IM, Text, Email, Camera… everything you want in there, its there! Google do listen to consumers.
… Can they make it prettier too?

Have you heard of drunk-emailing? That’s pretty much like drunk-dialing and drunk-texting.. When you text message someone something stupid while you’re drunk and regret it the next day. There’s also DRUNK- EMAILING… and trust me, I’ve done this before and I sure wish Google came up with the solution sooner!
I was drunk that night … feeling pathetic about myself over a break-up and before going to bed, I decided to email him (he was in another country with the new girl!). I type and typed all forms of emotion. Not deleting or editing my thoughts. I was typing fast as I think and then I pressed SEND. Big mistake!
Now Google launched MAIL GOOGLES. When you enable MAIL GOOGLES, it will make you solve few simple math problems AFTER you click SEND, to make sure that you really want to send that (pathetic!) late night Saturday email.
It works late night on weekends (that’s when you really need it anyway!) but can adjust the settings.
Check it out! Hope this saves you from doing something absurd like I did … =)

Apple recall IPHONE CHARGERS. You may read the news here.
If you purchased the new IPhone 3G that comes with Ultracompact USB Power Adapter, please be careful as this could be faulty. The metal prong could break off and get stuck in the the power outlet that can create electric shock. So far, no injuries have been reported.

Replacement adapters will be available for FREE on October 10 (Friday) in Apple stores. You may also go to the website - https://supportform.apple.com/200809/ for the Power Adapter Exchange Program. In the meantime, you may charge your IPhones straight to your computer via USB.

After years and years of debate in my head (PC vs MAC), I finally had the guts to buy myself an IMAC last Friday. I’m telling you … I’m loving it!

20 inch glossy wide screen - great for movies and editing photos, 2GB of 800MHz DDR2 memory so i can run applications at the same time without slowing down, 320 GB hard drive for space, space, and more space, built in camera, DVD±RW super drive and wireless all in that small sleek package.
The switch from PC to MAC will take a little getting used to. ” PC habits” that’s hard to break like right clicks, keyboard shortcuts, different navigation, etc. But i don’t see any real problem to it. There’s also the software I purchased for PC that wont run on MAC. But someone mentioned about a “crossgrade” which i still have to do a little research on for my Photoshop CS3 . I was told that i can just inform Photoshop that I switched from PC to MAC and they can give me license for the software. If that would work, it will save a me a lot of money.
I also found a useful website for MAC users, not just for new MAC user like me. www.versiontracker.com They have a wide list of software downloads and updates. That’s where I found out about www.openoffice.org. Openoffice is FREE software for word processing, spreadsheet, etc I didn’t want to buy IWork yet just to open my excel file so im so glad i stumbled upon that.
So if you guys are thinking of switching to MAC from PC .. i’d say dont be scared. Just jump! You wont regret it!

Ive been contemplating on getting a new IPOD. My IPod mini has become obsolete that it wont play in new cars now that has IPod ready audio system.
I want the IPod CLASSIC, of course but its too much for me plus i dont carry that much music with me anyway and everything is stored in my laptop. The IPOD NANO seems to be the perfect fit. The nano for some reason, i was never happy with. I bought an 8G for $199 few months back and found myself going back to Bestbuy and returning it after a week ( i just love Bestbuy’s return policy!)
When i got an email about the NEW IPOD NANO , i couldnt help but get excited!! More color options, bigger screen, tilt screen, new feature called GENIUS and best thing about it is 8G is for only $149!

Im so happy i did the right choice … im so glad i waited. Otherwise id be stuck with something i will never be quite happy with.
