Free FAX online

Published by blognuts under Online Gems, Tips Edit This

Today our fax machine broke down and I immediately searched the web for FREE fax online. I saw a bunch that has free trial but has a fee after the trial expires.

If you seldom fax a document to someone, like me for example, I’d rather email documents , you might want to check out Faxzero.com.

Its FREE, maximum of 2 faxes a day with maximum of 3 pages. Personally, that works for me. I hardly send out a fax, there is no hassle of leaving your office and going to a kiosk to fax a document. You can do so by just filling in the details (recipient, fax number), no more log in info and attaching the document to fax. That simple.

Yoville at Facebook

Published by blognuts under Online Gems Edit This

I’m not a Facebook addict. But I find myself logging in not just to keep in touch with friends but to play games. Lol!

As you all know, I play Mob Wars … and now a friend of mine got me into playing Yoville.  If you like cutesy games, this game is for you. Its like a mini SIMS game but less complicated and a little more interaction. Its nothing serious though … just a fun game to pass time. You can dress your character, decorate your apartment, buy a house or 2, work, buy a pet and chat with other Yoville players from Facebook.

If youre still into Myspace, they have Yoville for Myspace users as well.

Harry and David - Moose Munch!

Published by blognuts under Online Gems Edit This

I am not a popcorn person. My dad and my brother back home loves it so much that we practically have a year supply in our storage. I remember them watching TV side by side eating their popcorn and I never touch that thing no matter how much they persuaded me. Not even in movies (I’m a chips and nachos person!).

On Christmas Day, I received a box of Moose Munch by Harry and David. I wasnt planning on eating that thing,  but today while I was cleaning up my holiday mess…I dont know how but I ended up grabbing the box and reading the label. Its POPCORN with almonds (ok, not bad!), cranberries (yyum!), covered in … WHITE CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE! HOLY MOLY!! Must have! Must try!

… and soI did … and I LOVED IT! I loved it so much I finished the entire box in one sitting (so ashamed, oh so ashamed!) … I love it so much that I find myself searching for Harry and David Moose Munch Popcorn online! Lol!

Typing, searching … DARK CHOCOLATE Moose Munch Popcorn. Lol!

Scam - Google Money Tree

Published by blognuts under News, Online Gems, Tips Edit This

I love Facebook … I’ve connected with old friends, shared photos, and played games. But I cant help noticing the ads on the side of the page. And there’s one that caught my eye.

$50 - $90 for part time job?! Hellooo! Thats spells SCAM in bold letters. Unfortunately, a friend of mine fell for it.

At first it may seem harmless. Google kit is absolutely FREE, they say. As soon as you sign up, they ask for your credit card information for “shipping”  - $3.88. Sounds good? But read the FINE PRINT buried in the middle of the paragraph of the page:

“To get your free kit, just enter the information on the right, and I’ll get your kit shipped out fast. Also… for a limited time, not only will you get my entire GOOGLE MONEY TREE KIT, but you will also get a seven day trial to my private, members only website. People pay almost ninety bucks per month for access to this site, but during this seven day trial period, you can have unlimited, back stage private access, without any charge whatsoever. You can stay a member at the discounted price of seventy two dollars and twenty one cents per month for life. Of course, if your goals change, you can always call and cancel your subscription at any time. It really is the easiest thing you’ll ever do. If you can follow simple instructions, and will devote just a little time every day… you can be living the life of YOUR DREAMS TOO. I AM!”

My friend was charged $72.21 in her credit card for 3 months. She couldnt get a hold of their customer service rep to cancel subscription so she had to dispute the charges from her credit card company. And everyone knows its not easy to take away hours from work and responsibilities from home to deal with things like these. Such hassle.

I just hope FACEBOOK screens their advertisers. I know its good money for them. But their reputation is at stake if this keeps up.
